Huawei Mate 90 Pro leak covers more Kirin 9035 chip spec details

Huawei Mate 90 Pro is expected to debut with an exclusive Kirin chip called 9035 and more spec details of this mobile SoC are now out. While the OEM is delaying the warm-up process for the upcoming flagship, tipsters are bringing more relevant insights.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus has revealed spec details about the new Huawei Kirin 9035 chip. It is said to retain certain parameters of the Kirin 9030 series chipsets, with significant changes in performance.

The tipster started the leak by saying the Kirin 9035 will continue to feature the same internal specifications as the Kirin 9030 series processors. Although there could be noteworthy shifts in the frequency of the new mobile SoC.

Adding more, the tipster said the Huawei Kirin 9035 could bring increased clock speeds compared to the previous Kirin 9030 series chip versions.

For comparison:

• Kirin 9030 Pro: It has 9 cores and 14 threads with 2 cores clocked at 2.75GHz, 8 cores at 2.27GHz, and 4 cores clocked at 1.72GHz.
• Kirin 9030: It features 9 cores and 12 threads, with 2 cores clocked at 2.75GHz, 6 cores at 2.27GHz, and 4 cores clocked at 1.72GHz.

Besides, the leak mentioned that the new Kirin 9035 processor is genuinely a commendable choice for the Mate 90 Pro. It will work as a promotional feature for the respective flagship smartphone, making it more attractive in the market.

Kirin 9035 has appeared suddenly in the leak segments, claiming that it will debut exclusively in the Mate 90 Pro smartphone. Meanwhile, the other high-end variants are said to go with the Tau Law-powered 2026 Kirin chipset variants.

Neither Huawei nor the tipster has detailed the core configuration of the new Kirin 9036 chip. However, we may soon come across real insights on this topic.
