Time to get your game face on
As temperatures continue to drop, Dubai can finally enter its annual fitness era with Dubai Fitness Challenge, free boxing classes in Zabeel and more on the horizon. Add the annual ritual of the Dubai T100 Triathlon to the list and et voilà, Dubai’s fitness and sports calendar just got a whole lot busier.
Here are all the details you need to know
So, what is the Dubai T100 Triathlon?
Part of a much larger growing international sporting event, the Dubai T100 Triathlon is all set to make its grand return to the emirate on November 13 running until 15.
The weekend-long endurance sporting event is a part of the global T100 Triathlon World Tour and backed by the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO). It’s popular too, with nearly 2,000 athletes spanning 57 nationalities signing up for the challenge. And you know it’s a fun one when more than a third of the attendees signed up to return following the inaugural season.
Now, the event is in its third edition. The track will follow a scenic route from the serene waterscapes to a more parkland setting. It will follow the traditional triathlon format:
- Swim: The first segment of the triathlon will commence with a swim in Al Mamzar beaches.
- Bike: The second segment will see you biking through Al Hamriya Port and the Dubai Islands.
- Run: The final leg of the triathlon will feature running through the shaded pathways of Al Mamzar Park and the corniche footpath before you ultimately cross the finish line.

So, what are the categories for the Dubai T100 Trialthon?
Made to be inclusive for all, the Dubai T100 Triathlon Weekend will feature three distinct race categories, depending on the tier you choose.
First up is the Sprint, featuring a 750-metre swim, 20-kilometre bike ride and 5-kilometre run.
The second is the Olympic category, the newest addition to the race, that features a 1.5-kilometre swim, 40-kilometre bike ride and 10-kilometre run.
Lastly comes the signature T100 race, which covers a whopping 100 kilometres in total. This includes a 2-kilometre swim, 80-kilometre bike ride and 18-kilometre run. Seems gruelling, but would definitely be a noteworthy addition to your list of accomplishments.
For those of you who are leaning more towards witnessing the spectacle, you are also welcome to watch the endurance-packed weekend take shape.
Just last year, the Dubai T100 Triathlon drew close to 8,000 amateur participants with over 15,000 spectators watching history unfold across the weekend.
The Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO), Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, and Dubai Sports Council announce Al Mamzar as the new venue for the 2026 Dubai T100 Triathlon, taking place from 13-15 November as the penultimate stop on the nine-race T100 Race to Qatar.
