Summer may be winding down, which means some of the UAE’s biggest outdoor attractions are getting ready to welcome visitors back
From colourful flower gardens and wildlife adventures to family-friendly theme parks and outdoor escapes, these UAE attractions are back or reopening soon, just in time for the cooler months.
Dubai Crocodile Park
Reopened: September 15
Where: Mushrif, Dubai
Home to around 250 Nile crocodiles, with an African-inspired park, aquarium and natural history museum. It has already reopened after its summer break.
Sharjah Safari
Reopened: September 21
Where: Al Bardi Reserve, Al Dhaid, Sharjah
Sharjah Safari is officially back for a new season, giving visitors the chance to explore one of the UAE’s biggest wildlife attractions. The vast reserve is home to animals from across Africa, with safari experiences, wildlife encounters and plenty of space to explore.
Hatta Resorts and Wadi Hub
Reopening date: September 28
Where: Hatta, Dubai
If you’ve been waiting for cooler weather to head to the mountains, Hatta is calling. Hatta Resorts and Wadi Hub are reopening for the new season, bringing back outdoor adventures, mountain activities and stays surrounded by the Hajar Mountains.
Dubai Parks and Resorts
Reopening date: October 7
Where: Dubai Parks and Resorts, Dubai
Dubai Parks and Resorts is getting ready for another season of family fun. The destination is home to attractions including MOTIONGATE Dubai, LEGOLAND Dubai, LEGOLAND Water Park and Real Madrid World, making it an easy day out for families and thrill-seekers alike.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Reopening date: October 8
Where: Al Barsha South, Dubai
Dubai Miracle Garden is blooming back into action after its summer break. Expect colourful floral displays, larger-than-life installations and plenty of photo-worthy spots once the popular outdoor attraction reopens for its new season.
The Ripe Market
Reopening date: October 10
Where: Academy Park, Dubai
The Ripe Market returns for another season with local food, farmers’ produce, independent businesses, wellness activities and family entertainment. It runs on Saturdays and Sundays through May 2, 2027.
Dubai Safari Park
Reopening date: October 12
Where: Al Warqa 5, Dubai
Dubai Safari Park is getting ready to welcome visitors back for another season. The wildlife park is home to hundreds of animals from around the world, with safari experiences, animal encounters and educational activities to explore.
Global Village
Reopening date: October 14
Where: Global Village, Dubai
Global Village is one of the biggest signs that Dubai’s cooler season has arrived. The popular attraction will return for its new season, bringing back international pavilions, street food, shopping, live entertainment, rides and plenty of things to see and do.
Liwa International Festival
Opening date: December 11
Where: Tal Moreeb, Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi
More of a winter festival than a reopening, but it’s a good Abu Dhabi addition. Expect desert adventures, motorsports, heritage experiences and family entertainment. It runs until January 3, 2027.
