Here’s what could be the price of Huawei Watch GT 7 series
Huawei Watch GT 7 series launch is locked for August 5, and some tipsters are speculating on the price of this new-generation sports wearable in advance. A new piece of information suggests that the OEM will increase the cost of its GT smartwatches, but with a hair-thin margin.
According to FixedFocus, Huawei could increase the price of the Watch GT 7 series, but not by much. The new wearable lineup will debut with two variants – standard and Pro with a slight hike in their cost rates.
While the exact price remains unclear, the tipster said that the company could increase the cost by 100 yuan for both the standard and Watch GT 7 Pro models.
For reference, the Watch GT 6 41mm costs 1488 yuan and the 46mm model is available at 2088 yuan. On the other hand, the Pro variant with a 46mm size option has three different price tags based on the color schemes:
- 46mm Obsidian Black: 2488 yuan
- 46mm Amber Brown: 2988 yuan
- 46mm Titanium Air Silver: 3388 yuan
Based on the current leak details, the Watch GT 7 series overall price could range from approximately 1600 yuan to 3500 yuan. But again, an official confirmation awaits on this matter.
Following the rising component cost, Huawei is increasing the price of some existing and upcoming products. However, the company is still maintaining an efficient cost strategy for its handsets, and the Watch GT 7 series will follow this theory.
In addition to the pricing details, the tipster revealed color information for the Watch GT 7 series, which is quite similar to previously leaked insights.
