Honor shares Magic 9 Pro Max teleconverter lens’s sample shots

Honor Magic 9 Pro Max will debut next week and ahead of that, the company has shared sample shots of the flagship captured with its teleconverter lens. At the same time, the firm challenged other phone makers, asking, “Who else can do that?”

Magic 9 Pro Max will come with a special photography kit this time that holds two external lenses: a 500mm Honor Giant Cannon and a 200mm Honor Thumb lens.

The company has now shared sample shots of one of these Honor Magic 9 Pro Max teleconverter lenses. These shots are related to the Mid-Autumn Festival 2026.

Luo Wei, the Chief Imaging Engineer at Honor, has revealed sample photos of the full moon day, taken with the Magic 9 Pro Max. The shots not only show sharp details but also highlight the capabilities of the new teleconverter lens.

The chief has photographed the moon, the seashore, waves, and nature in all its full glory at night. You can check these sample shots below.

Honor teased earlier this week that the 500mm external lens will deliver the longest focal length solution among other teleconverters for smartphones. It is just perfect for ultra-long-distance shooting scenarios such as capturing the moon.

On the other hand, the 200mm Honor Thumb teleconverter, which is about 81mm long and weighs about 88g, focuses on portable telephoto, and both belong to the “Photography Master Set”.
