Sleaze Roxx stated the following in its review of Hot Machine‘s debut EP Leather and Steel: “Overall, I am very impressed by Hot Machine‘s debut EP Leather and Steel, and want more! Hot Machine have since released a few singles (“Night Rider” and “Burnt”) so it looks like the ladies should hopefully be releasing another EP or album in the future, and sooner rather than later. The good news is that they are continuing with their hard rocking edge. Hot Machine‘s Leather and Steel EP is one of the most exciting debut records that I have heard in a while and I wouldn’t be surprised to see this band blow up like Greta Van Fleet did.”
