European Video Awards 2026: The Winners

The fifth edition of VideoWeek’s European Video Awards took place in London’s Grand Connaught Rooms last night, as leaders from across the European CTV and video market congregated in the capital to celebrate the most creative and impactful work of the last year. Hosted by comedian and author Shappi Khorsandi (with a little help from a gratefully received phone flashlight from the audience), the ceremony once again highlighted just how innovative and adaptable our industry is.

Alongside our regular awards, this year we introduced three special Editorial Choice awards, honouring those we’ve noticed making a major impact during the course of our reporting. These included a Lifetime Achievement award for Thinkbox founder and Channel 4 NED Tess Alps, whose acceptance speech called for all of us to fight to ensure that the video and TV industry remains “on the side of the angels”.

We’d like to extend our congratulations to all of last night’s winners, and also to recognise the strength of this year’s entries across the board. As our Editor-in-Chief Vincent Flood emphasised in his opening speech, being shortlisted for an EVA is a massive achievement in itself, and our awards ceremony celebrates not just the winners, but all who have made it into the room.
