Ripe Market’s Community Run returns for its ninth edition
Lace up; The Community Run at Ripe Market is all set to make its grand return for the cooler season
As cooler weathers makes is gradual annual appearance in Dubai, people all over the emirate lace up their best shoes and head outdoors, and the Community Run at Ripe Market just gave you the perfect excuse to do so. And let’s be honest we are all counting down the days until our favourite outdoor fairs and markets open up.
Returning for its ninth edition, the Community Run at the Ripe Market in the Dubai Police Academy Park is all set to welcome its annual contenders for the community-led race. And best part is it has no age or fitness restrictions, it’s open to all. So, even if you are somewhat of a beginner when it comes to runs, this could be the perfect start for you.

So, when are the races and how can you register to the Community Run at Ripe Market?

The Community Run is all set to begin on October, 2026 and will run through May, 2027. With the series featuring six race days that occur on select Sundays only:
- October 4, 2026 from 7am
- December 13, 2026 from 7am
- January 10, 2027 from 6pm
- February 14, 2027 from 6pm
- March 14, 2027 from 7am
- May 2, 2027 from 6pm
Starting from Dhs116 for the 2.5km run, the prices depend on the distance you’ve chosen. The registration prices would be as follows: Dhs126 for the 5km run, Dhs137 for 10km and Dhs156 for 15km. If you are in the mood to challenge yourself, then you can also opt for the Dhs600 package which gives you an exclusive pass to all six races.
Just as you cross the finish line you’ll be in for a treat with their post-run celebration, along with some family-friendly entertainment and the market’s lively weekend atmosphere, of course. So if you’re looking to get some shopping in post race, they’ve got you covered for it.
