Huawei Mate 90 first teaser could be out next week, launch on Sept 28?
Huawei Mate 90 series first teaser is still behind the scenes, creating doubts about its rumored launch date of September 23. However, it looks like the company could begin the warm-up procedure for its new flagship lineup starting next week.
A few tipsters suggested that Huawei could drop the first teaser of the Mate 90 series next week. With that, the actual launch date will be shifted to September 28 or 29.
Now this time seems slightly correct, as Huawei would have announced any new launch event or relevant details if the Mate 90 series were launching on Sept 23.
Last month, an image from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China’s website was getting attention on the internet as it allegedly revealed the launch date of the Mate 90 series – 23rd of September.
It specifically mentioned, through a code name – Haco (Ha = Huawei and co = Conference) that Huawei will host an event on September 23 for new top-tier products.
But an official confirmation still awaits on this matter.
Since Huawei has publicly announced its 5G Kirin chip, it is unlikely to hold a Pioneer Program for the Mate 90 series at present. Hence, the newly leaked timeline aligns well with the current “Mate 90 launch” scenario.
Further details say that Huawei Mate 90 smartphones will likely be available after the Mid-Autumn Festival Holiday, that is, September 28, with a total of five models:
- Standard Mate 90
- Mate 90 Pro
- Mate 90 Pro Max
- Mate 90 Pro Max Collector’s Edition
- Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design
Huawei never reveals its flagship launch timing months or weeks in advance. It has its own strategy to maintain its fame in the market and disclosed the true stuff just a week ago. Perhaps the Mate 90 series smartphones are part of this strategy.
