Huawei and DJI may again team up to elevate mobile imaging

Huawei and DJI are in the news headlines for once again teaming up to boost the mobile imaging segment. It’s a thrilling piece of information for fans of both companies, as it suggests that they are up with a dynamic creation and unveil it in the future.

DigitalChatStation is the first to note this information. The tipster said that both Huawei and DJI are once again ready to enter the mobile phone imaging world.

DJI, or Dajiang Innovations, is a dominant Chinese technology company that deals with commercial and consumer unmanned aerial vehicles and camera systems.

Apart from drones, the company works on handheld stabilizers and gimbal-based cameras. These solutions offer high performance, waterproof resistance, and cinema-grade filters for filmmaking, enhancing both photo and videography.

Two years back, Huawei was rumored to join forces with DJI over an SLR (Single-Lens Reflex) camera solution. The latter adds technical potential to its products and uses advanced anti-shake properties for its camera setups.

However, at that time, SLR imaging sensors were losing their worth in the market amid cutting-edge DSLR innovation. Due to the outdated components and mechanisms, many brands preferred other top-tier solutions over SLRs.

Perhaps this is why Huawei dropped the plan of teaming up with DJI. But things seem different this time. Even though the tipster didn’t highlight the actual reason behind this cooperation, it will ultimately lead to better imaging for smartphones.

Details suggest that the Huawei and DJI partnership will take Mate and Pura phones’ photography and videography to the next level. The new solutions may unlock system-level seamless interconnection, high-speed data transmission of 4 K videos, and more.
