BMWs Motorrad have launched their new F 450 R motorcycle, which comes under the entry level category of motorcycles with a parallel-twin engine range along with 450 GS.
The design of the new BMW F 450 R is highly aggressive in nature and it includes a naked bike design with a pointed tank extension, LED taillight with bracket shaped DRLs, and a split seat. There is a tapered aluminum handlebar in it and a small bodywork design along with a 14 liters fuel tank and 26.3 km/h mileage.
It’s powered by the same 420cc engine as the 450GS, and its specifications are identical. This liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with dual overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder produces 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm. Gear changes are handled by a 6-speed gearbox.
BMW has announced Base, Exclusive, M Sport, and M Sport with Innovation Package variants. The Exclusive variant includes Shift Assistant Pro and Sport Suspension, while the M Sport also includes Riding Modes Pro. Combined with Shift Assistant Pro, this feature allows riders to accelerate, stop, and change gears without pressing the clutch lever.
