A forthcoming photobook by Arizona photographer David Blakeman. “Everything Is Beautiful Today” is a meditation on the current moment in the United States. The project encompasses 50 photographs spanning six years and six states, telling a story of decay and transformation. Blakeman also works on a free newsletter, Pictures of Us, that is essentially a photo blog featuring similar work around the American Southwest.
David Blakeman participated in our 2026 Book Award open call and made our shortlist.
