Welcome to YTF Community, a place to safely share in the challenges and joys of feeding our families. If you’re looking for recipes, feel free to go right to the home page of yummytoddlerfood.com.
Last week, someone sent me a message on Instagram thanking me for helping her feel like a “good mom” with my muffin recipes. I am always SO happy to know that my recipes help you all feed your kids—and honestly, these messages help me keep going in a time when my industry is endlessly being walloped by algorthims and AI scraping.

And yet, the message was a stark reminder of how quick we are to judge ourselves for the food our kids eat.
I often think about much easier would it be to manage the mental and physical labor of feeding a family without this pressure element because to a degree, I have been working on this for myself since writing my cookbook, Dinnertime SOS.
In the hopes that this helps more of us let go of more worry, guilt, and anxiety, here’s how I’ve gotten to a much lighter place with this in my own life.
