We’re excited to announce the next State of Chess, our live show where Chief Chess Officer IM Danny Rensch shares what Chess.com has been working on and what’s coming next. It’s also where you can ask us questions directly and get answers live on the broadcast. This is a big one, with two great guests and a long list of updates to get through, so make sure you don’t miss it!

The show starts with Liza Mandelup, who joins Danny to talk about Grandmasters, our new limited series diving into the professional chess world. Liza will share what drew her to the project, what viewers can expect from the series, and what it was like documenting the pro circuit up close. This is also your chance to ask Liza your questions about the show, so make sure you join us live.
Gambit & Classic Games With Albert Cheng
Albert Cheng is back on State of Chess, this time to talk about Gambit, our new platform for poker, and Classic Games, an initiative to work with other games like Go, Shogi, and Xiangqi. Danny and Albert will cover what’s new with both, and what sets them apart from other gaming websites

Next, Danny will run through everything happening at Chess.com right now—and there’s a lot to cover. Between bot upgrades, advanced stats for our members, a new game database, and plenty more across the site, it’s been a busy few months.
We’re also discussing Titled Tuesday‘s new format, bigger prize fund, and elevated importance within the Esports World Cup cycle.
