The awakening does not truly begin until one is willing to do the necessary inner lightwork, and face the darkest energies hiding within.
Many are starting to go through this more and more, while we also have a great number who haven not even given this idea any thought because they remain focused on worrying about and hating the outside world, not realizing that, more often than not, what they see outside is reflecting something that still exists within themselves.
These energies can accumulate over lifetimes. Many souls have experienced and participated in lower vibrational experiences in previous incarnations, not only in the present one. Every thought, word, emotion, and action leaves an imprint upon your being, carried within the deeper layers of your consciousness, within your DNA.
Until you are willing to face your own darkness, you will struggle to see the greater picture of what is truly transpiring on Earth. Fear will continue to cloud your perception and keep your frequency from rising, while the mind looks outside itself for someone to come and fix everything.
There is no savior coming to do the inner work for you. The transformation begins when you turn inward, face what you have carried, bring it into the light, and choose to release it. This is where awakening becomes real; not in escaping the darkness, but in meeting it with enough awareness and love that it no longer controls you.
