2026 Week 2 Steelers Vs Patriots Live Update And Discussion Thread – Second Half
The first half couldn’t have gone much worse for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who trail the New England Patriots 10-3 at halftime after a late field goal before the break. The defense has played well, with the exception of TreVeyon Henderson’s 39-yard touchdown run. The offense, meanwhile, has looked even worse than it did during last week’s sluggish performance against the Atlanta Falcons.
The offensive line isn’t holding up against the Patriots’ pass rush, and the run game hasn’t had much room to operate either. Germie Bernard was somehow the lone bright spot of the first half with a four-reception drive, but it ended in disaster with a sack-fumble on Aaron Rodgers for a huge loss out of field goal range.
To make matters worse, RB Rico Dowdle was injured in the first half.
