Just In: Guggenheim Abu Dhabi tickets are officially on sale
The countdown to one of Abu Dhabi’s biggest cultural openings is officially on, with tickets for Guggenheim Abu Dhabi now available to purchase
Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, The highly anticipated museum will open its doors on December 11, 2026, bringing a huge new space for contemporary art to Saadiyat Island. Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, Guggenheim Abu Dhabi will be the largest museum in the Guggenheim network.
How much are Guggenheim Abu Dhabi tickets?
Standard tickets cost Dhs70 per adult, while visitors under 18 can enter for free.
Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult during their visit.
There are also a number of free and discounted ticket options available for eligible visitors.
UAE residents aged 60 and above can visit for free, as can senior citizens and people of determination. People of determination can also receive a complimentary ticket for one companion.
Students studying at UAE universities can also enter for free, although they will need to show valid student ID. These tickets must be collected from the ticketing desk on the day of the visit.
Who can get discounted tickets?
UAE-employed educators, as well as members of the UAE military and Homat Al Watan, can visit for Dhs35.
Fazaa and Esaad cardholders can get tickets for Dhs50.
Visitors will need to provide proof that they are eligible for the relevant discount. Discounted tickets must be collected from the museum’s ticketing desk on the day of the visit.
What to expect at Guggenheim Abu Dhabi
The museum will span around 80,000 square metres, making it the largest Guggenheim in the world. Inside, there will be approximately 11,600 square metres of gallery space, alongside around 23,000 square metres of outdoor exhibition areas.
The museum will focus on modern and contemporary art, with its design intended to be part of the experience itself.
