A GTA 6 preview is dropping on Netflix – here’s when to watch in the UAE
The countdown to GTA 6 continues, and Rockstar Games has announced that fans will be getting another look at the hugely anticipated title later this month
In a first for the studio, the upcoming GTA 6 extended preview will debut on Netflix before becoming available across Rockstar’s own platforms a few hours later.
When can you watch the GTA 6 extended preview?
If you’re in the UAE, here’s when you can tune in:
- Netflix: Friday August 28 at 12.30am UAE time
- Rockstar Games YouTube channel and official website: Friday August 28 at 6.30am UAE time
Those with a Netflix subscription will get to see the footage first, with everyone else able to watch it six hours later via Rockstar’s official channels.
A first for Rockstar
While Rockstar has released trailers and gameplay videos on its own platforms in the past, this is the first time the developer has chosen a streaming service for an exclusive early premiere.
The move gives Netflix subscribers a short head start before the extended preview becomes publicly available worldwide.

Grand Theft Auto VI is currently scheduled to release on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, making this the biggest official update since Rockstar confirmed the launch date.
