Addressing Limitations in the Multimetric Classification Tree Model for Timed Barium Esophagram Interpretation
We commend Fass et al1 for their innovative approach to improving the diagnostic accuracy of timed barium esophagram (TBE) through a multimetric classification tree model. Although the study represents a significant step forward in esophageal motility diagnostics, several critical issues related to the model’s clinical applicability and interpretability warrant further discussion.
