This book is a result of a project I did in my Patreon last year. Last November was “Let’s Write a Book Together’ month and that’s what we did! They chose the trope (Why Choose) the spice level (Fairly high) and the number of men in the harem. They also chose the urban-fantasy-ish setting and the gods and goddesses secondary trope.
I am not typically one of those people who likes to share chapters as they write because my books change a lot over the course of writing them. I would not say I write complete seconds drafts – like ever – but the twists in my books involve some finesse. Ya gotta get all those continuity threads lined up in just the right way or the plot falls apart. So I would say that the rough draft and the final draft are mostly the same book, but without all the cool shit that really makes the twists pop.
But I did upload these chapters as I wrote and everyone in the Patreon got to read them. I don’t actually remember how much of it I changed between writing it and sending it to narrators, but a fair bit did.
It’s not my favorite process, I have to be honest. I am not a communal writer. I don’t sit in coffee shops and find quirky stories in the people around me. I don’t really ask for advice when it comes to writing or plotting. The story is just the story. It comes to me and that’s the end of it. And I was afraid that I’d lose that during this process, but it wasn’t the case. The muse was there. it delivered. I would say it delivered on a micr-scale compared to a book like Sparktopia or Godslayer, but it showed up.
So this is just a book about four people romping their way through a sex-maze adventure! It’s a standalone book with room to grow if another story comes to me.

MY ANSWER…
I actually like fated mates. A lot. I don’t write many because fantasy and PNR, Sci-Fi romance – it’s always a side project for me so they don’t come up that often. But most of them – well, at least half of the fantasy/PNR/Sci-Fi romance books I write have some kind of fated mates in them. It’s a fun trope I think.
