it’s christmas. still, men get our of the comfort of their sofa by the fireplace and come to the chill of the riverside to fish. and they wait. the sun goes away by the pier, and they ask the shadows of the night for a blessing. and they wait. it’s almost christmas. maybe it’s time to fish some birds this time.
