XAUUSD Gold Price Analysis: Bearish Bias Below 4,140–4,145
Gold (XAUUSD) remains under short-term pressure as the recovery failed to sustain above the 4,140–4,145 resistance zone. The higher-timeframe structure remains bearish/corrective, while short-term momentum has also turned negative following a rejection from the 4,140–4,143 area.
Gold Technical Structure Remains Bearish
On the 1H timeframe, Gold continues to form lower highs while trading below the key 4,140–4,145 resistance band. The broader descending structure remains intact, keeping the overall technical bias bearish.
The recent rebound from the 4,106–4,110 demand area provided temporary relief, but buyers were unable to establish sustained acceptance above 4,140–4,145.
On the 15M timeframe, momentum has turned bearish following the rejection from 4,140–4,143. Price is currently testing the 4,124–4,120 support region, making this zone important for the next directional move.

A sustained break below 4,120 could strengthen downside momentum and expose the 4,106–4,100 area, followed by 4,090–4,083. A deeper decline could bring the major 4,080–4,067 support zone into focus.
On the other hand, a strong reclaim and sustained hold above 4,140–4,145 would weaken the current bearish structure and potentially shift attention towards 4,160–4,165.
