Haunted Attractions Inc. has partnered with Wholesome Games. The publisher and curation platform will work with Evan’s Games, the development duo of Evan and Holly, on a cozy management sim about ghosts running spooky amusement parks.
You play as a ghost manager tasked with building attractions, recruiting supernatural staff, and putting their talents to work. Apparently, eternal rest still comes with a night shift.
Build Spooky Rides and Assign Your Ghosts
Your parks can feature attractions such as the Haunted Maze, Bat Drop, and Ghost Hunt. Different rides produce different resources, giving you several ways to complete each job.
Ghosts can haunt only one attraction per night, so assignments matter. Each employee has perks and abilities that can make them better suited to particular rides.
The game has no losing condition, leaving room to experiment with different staff combinations and management approaches.
Recruit Staff and Relax Between Jobs
At the end of each night, you return underground to buy attractions, exchange resources at the ghost bank, and recruit employees with special abilities. Multiple theme parks need your help, so your work continues beyond a single location.
Between assignments, you can visit the lounge, grab a warm drink, and chat with your coworkers about their stories.
Wholesome Games co-founder Matthew Taylor described the project as having “light management gameplay, thrilling rides, and plenty of charming ghosts to haunt them.”
Evan’s Games founder Evan Gibbs said he and Holly were pleased to find a publishing partner that shared their enthusiasm for the project.
