India vs Pakistan Asian Games Final: Abhishek Sharma Hits 61, Tilak Varma Scores Unbeaten 51



During the gold medal match of the Asian Games 2026 cricket tournament of the men’s side, the Indian team made 212 runs as the target for Pakistan. After winning the toss, the Indian team chose to bat first in the match. The Indian team’s opening did not begin well, but Abhishek Sharma gave an amazing innings in the game. Tilak Verma scored a half-century in 21 balls, and Shivam Dubey scored sixes and fours in the last overs of the innings. The Indian team scored 211 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs. It is India’s highest score while batting first against Pakistan.

Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. The opening was not a good one for the Indian team. The two opening batsmen, Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Sanju Samson, lost their wickets for 51 runs. Vaibhav was dismissed for 15 off 9 balls, and Samson for 2 off 4 balls. Opening the innings, Abhishek Sharma held his ground and maintained the run rate. Abhishek, along with captain Shreyas Iyer, added 42 runs for the third wicket, taking the team’s score to 93.
