St. Petersburg’s Pinellas Ale Works has announced they are opening a new facility – one that serves their beer, welcomes all four-legged friends, and will be serving for the first time this weekend, beginning Thursday with the grand opening to follow.
While the news has been sad for many breweries around the United States in 2026, the opening of a new brewery/ taproom is definitely cause for celebration.

From Pinellas Ale Works:
It’s official folks! Taps & Tails is opening on October 1st, with our Grand Opening celebration on Friday, October 2nd! Bring your friends, family, and of course your four-legged friends to our new location at 5518 Haines Rd N! Of course we will have all of your favorite PAW beers on tap! We will also have food available from saucinwings on Friday and Saturday who I will continue to proclaim have the best wings in the bay! We can’t wait to see all of our old friends, best pals, and all of the beautiful new faces that are sure to show up!
The new Taps & Tails location at 5518 Haines Rd N joins Pinellas Ale Works’ taproom at 1962 1st Avenue South in the Grand Central District, where the brewery has built its reputation as a dog-friendly craft beer destination. Guests can expect the same PAW beers regulars already know and love, plus food from Saucin’ Wings on Friday and Saturday. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, the grand opening is a chance to sample a pint, meet fellow dog lovers, and get a first look at the brewery’s newest space. Bring the whole family.
