

The southwest monsoon is now leaving Rajasthan in the last stages. The monsoon conditions favor the monsoon’s return to other regions of the state in the next 48 hours. This will be followed by the weather staying dry in most parts of the state in the coming days.
Today, October 2nd, the weather in Rajasthan will be mostly clear. The Met department has not raised any alerts concerning rainfall or adverse weather in any parts of the state. No major changes in temperature are expected in the coming days.
With the departure of monsoon rains, there will be very minimal activities in terms of rainfall in the early days of October. The day will be hot while the night is moderately cold in many areas. In the past 24 hours, the weather has been mostly dry, although light to moderate rain fell in some areas of Rajsamand. Amet recorded 16 mm of rainfall. Pilani recorded a maximum temperature of 39.7 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department’s forecast, scattered rainfall activity may begin in northern Rajasthan after October 6th. Scattered rainfall is expected in the northern and eastern districts on October 7th and 8th. Following this, thunderstorms and rain activity may increase between October 9th and 11th. However, the current IMD warning does not include any warnings for both meteorological subdivisions of Rajasthan until October 8th.
