Hyde Park Roundhead Brewing Picked As One Of 5 U.S. Bars Nationally For Women’s Sports Grant

PRESS RELEASE / September 24, 2026 (Hyde Park, MA) – Roundhead Brewing Company — the Hyde Park brewery founded by two dads who met on the sidelines of their kids’ Jamaica Plain youth soccer team — was just named one of five inaugural grantees in the Stanley 1913 x TOGETHXR “Changing the Game” program, announced today. The grant funds Roundhead’s expansion from taproom to a dedicated destination for watching women’s sports, building on its existing partnership with Boston Legacy FC.

Roundhead is the only New England pick among five bars nationally (alongside venues in Chicago, Detroit, Indianapolis, and Dallas), selected for what Stanley/TOGETHXR called its “deep community roots and relationships with local sports teams.”

Co-owner Craig Panzer, on why it matters locally:

“We bring together a unique intersection of people: from the grassroots Jamaica Plain youth soccer families to professional-tier Boston Legacy FC supporters. We are a family-friendly space where young girls can see professional women athletes celebrated on the big screen, inspiring generations to come.”
