I know I’m a little late to welcome the month of October and to post here, but I have a good excuse! I really do! I have moved to a different town, left my position as caregiver, and have pretty much started a new life (not witness protection or anything.)
I am in a much better head-space than I have been in a LONG time! So with that being said I am going to be a bit more active on here than I have been in a while. One of the first things that I did when I moved into the new place was go and get a library card. (After putting my bookshelf together, of course.) So that should tell you something.
So to start off the fun I’ll give you a peek at my TBR for the week.
- The Unworthy by Agustina Bazterrica (currently reading)
- A House With Good Bones by T. Kingfisher
- What Feasts at Night by T. Kingfisher
- The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix
I am also reading (slowly to absorb the material) The Second Sex by Simone de Beauvoir.
Oh and on top of this, I’m trying to teach myself Czech because…..I’M GOING TO PRAGUE IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS!!!
I have never been out of the country and never thought it was possible! How friggen’ cool is that?!
So, I am excited and happy and wigging out all rolled into one human. BUT I am already seeing a big improvement on my mental health since this big change. It was scary and nerve-wracking but so far it was very much worth it!
Can’t wait to start posting reviews!
See ya soon! <3
