Nigerian street-pop artist Mr Real has released “Put In Work,” the opening track from his new six-track EP Real Movement. Produced by Bredah, the song arrived on September 25 through PG Records, distributed globally by Maxtreme Inc . It runs just over three minutes and sets the tone for a project built around effort, persistence, and the refusal to remain stagnant.
Mr Real, born Okafor Uchenna Victor in Lagos State, Nigeria, first gained widespread recognition with his 2017 street-hop anthem “Legbegbe,” a record that topped charts across the country and earned him a Best Rap Artist nomination at The Headies and a Nigeria Entertainment Award for Hottest Single of the Year . He signed with Sony Music Entertainment Africa in 2018 and built a catalog through singles and collaborations with artists including D’banj, CDQ, Slimcase, and DJ Neptune . His career has been marked by a slow, deliberate ascent, cutting his teeth on tracks with Klever Jay, Seriki, and Terry G before his breakout.

The Real Movement EP represents a return to more consistent activity for Mr Real, following the standalone release of “Put In Work” in July. The project expands that single into a six-song collection that traces the stages of striving, from hard work to financial progress to street confidence . Guest features include Sugarbana on “Check Clear,” and DennyB and DanDizzy on the closing track “Onaba 2.0”.

The production on “Put In Work” comes from Bredah, with Uchenna Victor Okafor credited as both composer and lyricist, underscoring Mr Real’s creative involvement in shaping the record . The arrangement draws from Afrobeats and Nigerian street-pop, maintaining enough energy for casual listening while keeping the message of hard work at the center . The track’s compact presentation suits an artist known for energetic records built around memorable phrases and everyday Nigerian expression.
