The wait is over: Lojay has a new single out, “Money Lingo,” released through his own Koratori Music imprint. Quotable lyrics — “I no fit Hear any other lingo, money lingo say na money lingo.”

He set it up well, too. A 44-second studio clip he posted ahead of release showed him sitting with Davido, which was all it took to get people talking about a reunion — the two last appeared together on 2023’s “Sensational” with Chris Brown.
The record itself sits where Lojay usually does: Afrobeats foundations, a global ear, and enough local detail to keep it rooted. What separates it from his softer, R&B-leaning material — last year’s Tyla link-up “Memories,” for instance — is how playful the writing is. The wordplay is doing as much work as the beat.

It follows his XOXO run and keeps to a formula that has served him well: short, sharp, hook-first singles that travel. “Money Lingo” is another one built to test the temperature and build momentum — and going by that Davido clip, there may be more from those sessions on the way.
