Forza Horizon 6 is reportedly set to arrive on PlayStation 5 on January 26, 2027, according to a new report that also reveals the game’s expected price.
The PS5 launch date has been the subject of speculation for months. Playground Games previously said that the racing title would come to PS5 later in 2026, but a subsequent report claimed that the release had been delayed into 2027.
A new report from Dealabs insider billbil-kun now provides a specific date, suggesting that PlayStation 5 players will be able to start playing Forza Horizon 6 on January 26, 2027.
PS5 Version Expected to Match Xbox Pricing
According to the report, the PS5 version will cost the same as the Xbox Series X|S edition in Europe and the UK. The game is expected to be priced at €69.99 in Europe and £59.99 in the UK.
A physical version is also reportedly planned for PS5. However, details about a potential Premium Edition have yet to be revealed. It is also unclear whether PlayStation players will receive any form of early access with a higher-priced edition.
Microsoft and Playground Games have not yet officially confirmed the reported January release date or the PS5 pricing details.
Forza Horizon 6 Heads to Japan
Forza Horizon 6 takes the long-running racing series to Japan, a setting that fans have requested for years.
The game will feature Tokyo as its largest city in the franchise so far, alongside a densely detailed map combining urban environments with rural areas. Playground Games is also placing a strong focus on Japanese automotive culture.
Players can expect a wide selection of vehicles, including rare aftermarket cars and heavily modified builds. The game will also feature Touge racing, adding mountain road battles to the series’ open-world driving experience.
If the reported date proves accurate, the PS5 release will arrive several months after the game’s launch on Xbox platforms and PC, giving PlayStation players their first chance to explore Forza Horizon 6 in early 2027.
