Oni Press unveils ‘Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library’ and first three covers • AIPT
Adventure awaits all over again, and this time Oni Press is bringing a massive chunk of the Land of Ooo together on the bookshelf.
AIPT can exclusively announce the Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library, a new six-volume hardcover collection celebrating more than 15 years of Adventure Time comics. Created in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, the Kickstarter project will collect more than 100 issues of Adventure Time comics in oversized editions, complete with Kickstarter-exclusive slipcases and a mountain of additional collectibles.
Today, AIPT can also exclusively reveal the covers for the first three volumes, which together begin collecting the complete original 75-issue Adventure Time series.

Originally launched in 2012, heck I was reviewing them back then, the 75-issue Adventure Time comic became a major extension of the Cartoon Network series, bringing Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, and the rest of Ooo into stories from an enormous lineup of creators. The series featured work from Ryan North, Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, Christopher Hastings, Ian McGinty, and many more.
The new Deluxe Comics Library is designed to bring that material together in chronological order, with the entire collection spanning six oversized hardcover volumes. Each book will also receive its own unique slipcase available exclusively through the Kickstarter campaign.
“The algebraic Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library slipcase editions are entirely Kickstarter exclusive and will never be made available in mass quantities anywhere else,” said Oni Press Director of Business Development Sam Kusek. “This campaign is a celebration of the comic adventures of Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline… the list goes on and on, and also includes a limited edition Land of Ooo boxset and an even more limited edition BMO boxset! No matter who your favorite Adventure Time character is, there’s something for everyone.”
And Oni isn’t stopping with the original series. Across the six volumes, the Deluxe Comics Library will collect more than 100 issues from 15 years of Adventure Time comics, featuring work by creators including Mariko Tamaki, Delilah S. Dawson, Jorge Corona, Marguerite Sauvage, Zachary Sterling, Nick Winn, Caroline Cash, Brenda Hickey, and many others.
Going all out on the extras
For collectors, Oni is also digging into Adventure Time comics history with new facsimile editions of four notable first issues. Those include the original 2012 Adventure Time #1 by North, Paroline, and Lamb; 2016’s Adventure Time Comics #1; Fionna & Cake Card Wars #1; and Oni’s 2025 Adventure Time #1.
The campaign will offer the Deluxe Comics Library volumes individually or as a complete six-volume set, along with two elaborate collector options.
The Limited Edition Land of Ooo Box Set houses all six slipcased hardcovers inside a Land of Ooo travel box and adds a metal Jake the Dog bookmark, stickers, prints, the facsimile comics, a rainbow-foil edition of Adventure Time: The Bubbline College Special, and a selection of Oni’s Adventure Time variant covers.
Then there’s the Limited Edition Land of BMO Box Set, which packages the six volumes inside a BMO-themed box and includes many of the same collectibles. The top-tier offering also adds an original piece of artwork from an Adventure Time artist, with participating creators including Nick Winn, Caroline Cash, Brenda Hickey, and more.
Other rewards across the campaign include a silkscreen travel poster and one-of-a-kind sketch covers.
With the first three newly revealed covers kicking things off, the Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library aims to give the comics side of Finn and Jake’s history the oversized archival treatment.
