Self efficacy is the believe that you are capable of carrying out a specific task or reaching a specific goal. This is also a degree of ability to produce a desired result under an ideal testing condition. There is not total assurance of success with hoping only self efficacy without interest.

(Student two) is less likely to attempt the math home work, perhaps telling himself ” what’s the use of trying this” (SELF EFFICACY without INTEREST).
When a student finds task or subject interesting, he devote more time and attention to the topic This is a form of INTRISIC INTEREST.
