Cornucopia’s drink seminars offer opportunities to learn directly from sommeliers, winemakers, distillers and other industry experts, with experiences designed for everyone from curious newcomers to seasoned enthusiasts.

Highlights include Classic vs Contemporary on November 6, putting benchmark European wines head-to-head with challengers from around the world, Blind Tasting Like a Sommelier on November 7, led by Best Sommelier of BC and two-time competitor at the Best Sommelier of Canada Jason Yamasaki, and the popular French Wine + Charcuterie with Oyama Sausage Co., also on November 7.

The lineup continues with Cafe Culture IV on November 8, Legends + Next Generation: The Wine Tasting on November 13, and Cowichan Valley: One of Canada’s Most Exciting Wine Regions on November 14, spotlighting one of Canada’s emerging cool-climate wine regions.

Culinary Stage sessions also run throughout the festival, bringing chefs and culinary talent to the stage for an up-close look at their techniques, ingredients and stories. This year’s lineup includes Quang Dang, Alana Maas, Luis Valenzuela, Julian Bond, Bruce Worden and Trevor Randle.
