RLB is celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2026! What better way to celebrate than with a huge Block Party with the people who are most important to us.
The weather was perfect as nearly 400 of our team members, their families, clients, neighbours, and community partners came out to celebrate in the sunshine.
We shared delicious food and drinks, played games, got prizes from the swag wall, and of course, reconnected with old friends.

RLB’s Managing Partner, Matthew Venne, and Bruce Robinson, retired Partner and son of Founding Partner, Earl Robinson spoke, sharing memories from our firm’s history, and thanked the crowd for 75 years of support, trust and partnership. Mayor Cam Guthrie and MPP Mike Schreiner marked the occasion with congratulatory remarks, noting how rare it is to reach a milestone like this, and presented certificates to commemorate the achievement.

MP Dominique O’Rourke was unable to attend the event on August 25th; however, she sent a certificate of recognition in her absence. We also received a certificate of recognition from Prime Minister Carney in recognition of our 75th anniversary.
We couldn’t have made this special day happen without our wonderful vendors. Many of them stuck by us after we postponed the event in July due to poor air quality from the Northern Ontario Wildfires.
Our neighbours from the Guelph Humane Society joined us to share information about their services, and our friend The Fire Guy wowed the crowd with stunts and a special performance.
It was a true privilege and honour to celebrate this momentous occasion with our clients, community partners, families, and friends. We would like to thank all those who were able to join us in person to celebrate.
We would also like to thank our community partners who have forged strong relationships with us over the years, and most importantly, our clients who continue to put their faith and trust in us, partnering with us year after year, decade after decade, and in some case, generation after generation.
