I wake up with a familiar sense of monotony. The days blend together, a never-ending cycle of routine. I confess my propensity to indulge in the temptation of complacency, trudging through the familiar rhythms of life without expectation of change. Today, I ask: what new path might God be calling me to? What familiar patterns might He be inviting me to change?
I’m reminded of Moses’ encounter with God in Exodus 3, where he’s called to embark on a monumental task. Moses’ initial response is relatable: ‘Who am I?’ He’s hesitant, unsure if he’s equipped for the challenge. God’s response doesn’t bolster Moses’ ego by saying, “You’re Moses, You’re awesome and you can handle it.”
God’s response is both profound and reassuring: ‘I will be with you…I AM!’ This declaration reveals a fundamental truth: our weaknesses and limitations are precisely the contexts in which God’s power and presence are most fully realized. It’s in our vulnerability that we are compelled to relinquish self-reliance and instead, find our confidence and hope in Him alone.
This is the paradox of faith: acknowledging our weakness, and discovering the unshakeable reality of God’s presence. And it’s in this awareness that we find our greatest source of hope, JESUS. Amen! God bless!🤗❤️🙏
