OCD Research
Research plays a significant role in helping us better understand Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and to further develop evidence-based treatments available for people living with OCD.
Whenever we are approached by a researcher we carry out our own due diligence, we have a duty to you our supporters, to protect your rights, dignity, well-being, valuable time and, of course safety. We ask questions of the research project and review thoroughly before we promote the research on our website. OCD-UK believes this policy on being selective in the research we promote ensures our supporters can have confidence in participation of this research listed below.

Can a personalised nutrition program (ZOE) improve symptoms of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Body Dysmorphic Disorder?
Summary
We are inviting adults with OCD to take part in a study that is testing whether the personalised nutritional programme, ZOE, can help improve their symptoms. This study is being organised by researchers at King’s College London.
ZOE is a personalised nutrition programme on a mobile phone that advises people on the types of foods that can improve their gut health.
We will ask you to complete questionnaires on your mental health symptoms, nutritional intake and experience of using ZOE. Please note that if you take part, you will not have to pay to use ZOE.
