It all started with a scroll.
I was deep in research mode (aka chasing new income ideas) when I came across this Medium post by Greece Aberdeen:
“Marketplaces Where I Sell My AI Art in 2025.”
Boom. That was the spark.
Greece Aberdeen’s words sound different: “Small income still counts.”
I’ve already got my hands in multiple passive income pies—selling digital products like ebooks and courses, and affiliate marketing is my full-time thing.
But here’s what I believe:
You never bet on one stream. You build a river.
The online world rewards those who test, tweak, and try. So, here’s what I’m adding to my mix next:
Selling AI-generated artwork…
Hold up—before you think I’m some digital Picasso…
Let’s clear the air.
I can’t draw.
Not even a stick figure that looks trustworthy.
But here’s the truth: in 2025 and beyond, none of that matters anymore.
Right now, it takes less than two minutes to generate beautiful, scroll-stopping art with AI like this one here.
The Tool I’m Using to Create My Art
After testing a bunch of AI tools (because I test everything), my go-to weapon is:
Midjourney.
No fluff — the quality is unreal. It’s like having a world-class designer on standby 24/7. I just type a creative prompt, and in seconds… Gallery-worthy pieces ready to sell.
Back in the day, I fumbled with Photoshop and Inkscape to make designs.
Took hours. Now? Midjourney makes it effortless.
And I’m not doing it alone. My silent partner in this?
ChatGPT.
It helps me write better prompts, killer product descriptions, and persuasive copy.
It’s basically my co-founder behind the scenes.
Where I’ll Sell My Art
This is where it gets interesting.
I’m starting with seven core platforms:
- Redbubble – Perfect for beginners. Upload your art, set the price, and let their algorithm bring in the buyers.
- Zazzle – Known for loyal customers and quality control. I’m keeping it niche-specific here.
- Etsy – The go-to for bundles, printables, and downloadables. Bonus? I can funnel my affiliate audience here for instant traffic.
- Society6 – Slept-on gem. I’ve seen quiet success stories here — it’s time to add it to the list.
- Creative Fabrica – This is my bundle-and-clipart playground. Lower competition and solid payouts.
- Displate – Metal posters that look premium. I’m all in.
- Wirestock – Work smarter, not harder. Upload once, and it syndicates to other marketplaces. Automation heaven.
I’m not trying to conquer the whole internet in one shot.
The plan is to master a few, then scale to 10–15 platforms over time.
My Simple Selling Strategy
Here’s my playbook — inspired by Greece Aberdeen’s workflow, with a little twist of my own marketing brain:
- Pick One Niche. Stick to It.
I’m leaning into what I already love — “motivational military-style quotes with bold, AI-powered illustrations.” Specific sells. - Batch-Create Art Using AI
Weekends are for creativity. I’ll crank out 10–15 pieces each session, all tied to one central theme. - Design for Products, Not Just Art
I’m not just selling a digital image — I’m turning it into mugs, posters, phone cases, you name it. Canva helps with mockups and sizing. - Automate Listings
ChatGPT + Canva = fire combo. Product titles, descriptions, and even Pinterest captions get done in minutes. - Drive External Traffic (If Needed)
Pinterest and Medium will help amplify reach. But honestly? I’m banking on organic traffic from these marketplaces to start. - Let It Compound
I’m not babysitting listings. I’ll upload, observe, optimize, and then move on. This is a snowball strategy: small streams stacking up over time.
Final Thoughts
This isn’t about being an artist.
It’s about being a strategist with tools.
This is art without art school.
Income without burnout.
Creativity without pressure.
Let’s see what happens when you hand a non-artist the tools of a digital Da Vinci.
