This is the frequented by the tigers on the hunt favored by the slush<br \/>\ncreated.\u00a0 Tourists and guides often stop<br \/>\nhere to pray to Shiva. The Shiva lingam dates back 2000 years and is perhaps as<br \/>\nold as the fort at the top.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chakradhara Meadow<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Chkradhara is a swampy grassland<br \/>\nand is close to Charanganga River this is the finest example of a marshy<br \/>\nmeadow. The swamp grassland is frequented by the prey species which are often<br \/>\nhunted by the hungry tigers here. This offers an ideal moment to film or<br \/>\nphotograph the hunted and the hunter encounters. This is a favorite pond for the big cats during<br \/>\nthe hot summer and they come to rest here. Many big cats and other wild animals<br \/>\nhave made Gopalpur pond their regular haunt. You can see interesting wildlife<br \/>\nif you wait here silently.\u00a0 <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Badi Gufa \u2013 The Big Cave<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">For bat lovers, this is the best<br \/>\nmulti-chambered cave. you can see the Brahmi script etched on the walls of the<br \/>\ncave that acted as court chambers in the 10th Century AD. The walls contain a<br \/>\ncolony of bats hanging upside down as they usually do. The cave is grilled so<br \/>\nwild animals do not enter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sesh Shayya<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reclining idol of Lord Vishnu<br \/>\nis carved out of an igneous rock that is 20 feet long. The pool on the right is<br \/>\ninundated by trickles from the mountain River Charanganga that seep downs from<br \/>\nBandhavgarh Hill. The surrounding canopy comprises dense thickets of shrubs and<br \/>\nis an ideal breeding ground for the big cats.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ketkiya Breaks (Aromatic Kewara)<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aromatic Kewara plants have a<br \/>\ndistinct niche habitat. The tall stands of Arjun and Jamun Trees act as shade<br \/>\nfrom the Sun and encourage the growth of the shrubs. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bhitari Bah Niche Habitat<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Fed by Bhitari rivulet the slush<br \/>\nformation is supported by grass and a thicket of dense herbs. The niche is<br \/>\nsupported by tall trees.\u00a0 The d grassland<br \/>\nis preferred by the herbivores to forage giving ample opportunity for big cats<br \/>\nto hunt. This spot is frequented by herbivores and big cats hide in the tickets<br \/>\nto hunt for them. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sita Mandap (Stone Arch)<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The arch is a unique geological<br \/>\nformation due to erosions under which water flows. A number of rock and cave<br \/>\nformations give the place a unique importance. Though closed to visitors one<br \/>\ncan look down from the top to sight the big cats arriving here to drink. This<br \/>\ntigers inhabit is inaccessible to tourists. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bandhavgarh National Park abounds<br \/>\nin niche habitats throughout the park. An extensive survey of Bandhavgarh could<br \/>\nresult in amazing finds. The formation of Bandhavgarh National Park and its<br \/>\ndeclaration as a protected area under the wildlife protection act 1972 has been<br \/>\na big boon. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">All the wonderful geologic<br \/>\nformations add to make tiger safari interesting and exciting. One must visit<br \/>\nthe park on safari.
