And he\u2019s<span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"a-text-italic\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-style: italic !important;\">smiling<\/span><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"><span>\u00a0<\/span>at her.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>As they start to chat, everything else becomes background noise \u2013 until someone comes running out of a door, yelling something about a huge mistake, and sends the dreamy stranger back down to earth.<\/p>\n<p>In a twist of fate, Delphie is offered a deal in which she can return to her previous life and reconnect with the mysterious man she\u2019s sure is her soulmate.<\/p>\n<p>The challenge? She only has ten days to find him.<\/p>\n<p>Ten days to make him fall for her.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and he has no recollection of them ever having met\u2026<br style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"\/><span class=\"a-text-bold\" style=\"box-sizing: border-box; font-weight: 700 !important;\">_______________<\/span><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; color: #0f1111; font-family: &quot;Amazon Ember&quot;, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><br style=\"box-sizing: border-box;\"\/><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">I loved Yours Truly by Kirsty Greenwood so I was excited to<br \/>\nread another of her books and her new release The Love of My Afterlife sounded<br \/>\nlike a fresh take on a rom-com that was just what I needed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">We meet our FMC Delphi as she has just died after choking on<br \/>\na burger! <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">Yes, an unusual start to a novel and one I am sure none of<br \/>\nus have come across before. As she is welcomed by her afterlife therapist she<br \/>\nthen meets Jonah and experiences a romantic connection she has never had in her<br \/>\nlife, could this be her soul mate?<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">Her meeting with him is short- lived though as Jonah is<br \/>\nthere in error and gets sent back to real life and Delphi makes a deal with her<br \/>\ntherapist to return to the living and find Jonah who will have no recollection<br \/>\nof her and make him full for her and kiss her!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">Yes this was a completely far-fetched storyline but that didn\u2019t<br \/>\nmatter one iota, I loved every second of it. Delphi has never really lived<br \/>\nlife, she keeps herself to herself has no friends or boyfriends which was so<br \/>\nsad considering what a lovely woman she is but this challenge made her push<br \/>\nherself out of her comfort zone as she needed all the help she could get to<br \/>\ncomplete her task but never did she anticipate that she may actually make some<br \/>\nfriends and maybe more along the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">There were some funny bits here and there too which had me<br \/>\nchuckling away and the old romantic in me really wanted Delphi to experience<br \/>\nthe perfect love story she deserved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">I loved that this storyline was so refreshing being unlike<br \/>\nany I had read before as I have been moving more into Fantasy and Thriller<br \/>\nrecently with romance books all seeming to blend into one or being so full of<br \/>\nsmut that there is no storyline alongside it but this book has got me back to<br \/>\nthe romance that I always loved. This was light hearted, fast paced, witty and<br \/>\nromantic all in one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">I could kind of see where the storyline was going to go but<br \/>\nI still didn\u2019t quite work out how the author was going to end the storyline and<br \/>\nwhen the revelation was made I did have a little pull on the heart string, but<br \/>\nit is certainly not a tear jerker so don\u2019t be put off for those who do not like<br \/>\nsad books ( as I know a few of you have asked this whilst I was reading)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"color: #0f1111;\"><span style=\"font-family: Bebas Neue;\">This is a brilliant read by Kirsty Greenwood, she has brought my love of romance back.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/div>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If she wasn\u2019t dead already, Delphie would be dying of embarrassment.
