The one big change was that we are now riding 70 miles each today and tomorrow heading due south, and the wind is still out of the NNE, so we had a wonderful tailwind all day and should again tomorrow.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Oh, am I talking about the weather too much?\u00a0 Cyclists are obsessed with the weather.\u00a0 We are at the mercy of the weather and we always want to know how good or bad the conditions are going to be \u2013 especially the wind.\u00a0 The wind is everything.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Same thing for drivers.\u00a0 Some are good, some not so good.\u00a0 But there is not much we can do either way other than to be alert and be ready to react if danger approaches.<\/p>\n

In the end, we are not in control.\u00a0 So why do we do it?\u00a0 Because the mission of the Fuller Center for Housing is worth the risk.\u00a0 It\u2019s worth the risk in order to raise money to help end poverty housing.\u00a0 It\u2019s worth the risk to minister to people who are hurting and don\u2019t now Jesus.\u00a0 He said \u201cGo, therefore, and make disciples of all nations\u2026\u201d\u00a0 (Matthew 28:19).\u00a0 He did\u00a0not<\/u> say, \u201c\u2026unless it\u2019s risky or dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n

So I press on regardless of the weather, stay alert, and I\u00a0pray without ceasing.<\/u><\/i><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
