There are times when we cannot fulfil those demands,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cWe\u2019re looking at how we could renew the jet fleet into something that is a bit more modern and will bring more efficiency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #545454; font-family: PublicSans, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px 0px 1.5rem; padding: 0px;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/prosubscription.ch-aviation.com\/fleets-advanced\/\" style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #c0272d; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; transition: 0.35s ease-in-out, height;\">ch-aviation fleets<\/a>\u00a0module shows Bahamasair\u2019s fleet comprises nine aircraft, three\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/ATR4260\" style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #c0272d; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; transition: 0.35s ease-in-out, height;\">ATR42-600<\/a>s, two\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/aircraft-variants\/AT72600\" style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #c0272d; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; transition: 0.35s ease-in-out, height;\">ATR72-600<\/a>s, and four B737-700s, the latter type being 20.2 years of age on average. It owns its entire fleet, but according to Eye Witness News it is likely to lease any new arrivals. Other local news sources said that the chief executive put the number of A220s it would order at eight to ten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #545454; font-family: PublicSans, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; line-height: inherit; margin: 0px 0px 1.5rem; padding: 0px;\">In parallel, Cooper explained that Bahamasair had faced supply chain issues with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/entities\/PRWH\" style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #c0272d; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; transition: 0.35s ease-in-out, height;\">Pratt &amp; Whitney<\/a>\u00a0regarding the engines of its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ch-aviation.com\/airlines\/ATR\" style=\"border: 0px; box-sizing: border-box; color: #c0272d; font-weight: 600; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; text-decoration-line: none; transition: 0.35s ease-in-out, height;\">ATR &#8211; Avions de Transport R\u00e9gional<\/a>\u00a0fleet, which has resulted in delays of up to 150 days in the delivery of any repairs.
