{"id":92116,"date":"2025-02-16T18:27:31","date_gmt":"2025-02-16T18:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/alcohol\/exclusive-news-and-research-on-the-wine-spirits-and-beer-business-18\/"},"modified":"2025-02-16T18:27:31","modified_gmt":"2025-02-16T18:27:31","slug":"exclusive-news-and-research-on-the-wine-spirits-and-beer-business-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=92116","title":{"rendered":"Exclusive news and research on the wine, spirits and beer business"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"\">\n<h2>New Round Of \u201cReciprocal\u201d Tariffs On The Way, President Says<\/h2>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<span class=\"posted\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.shankennewsdaily.com\/2025\/02\/14\/\" title=\"Click to see that day's daily archive\">February 14, 2025<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Yesterday, President Trump signaled that a broad round of tariffs are coming on countries that he believes are taking advantage of the U.S.<span id=\"more-36913\"\/> The tariffs will be tailored to individual countries\u2014including allies like the E.U., Japan, and Korea\u2014by Commerce Secretary nominee Howard Lutnick and U.S. trade representative nominee Jamieson Greer with input from Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. <\/p>\n<p>According to Lutnick, the tariffs could go into effect as soon as April 2, with the nominee stating that he would deliver his tariff recommendations to the president by April 1. Per the New York Times, Trump stated that he was not considering any exemptions or waivers for this round of tariffs.
