An employee with 24 years of service has filed a complaint against the agency, alleging violations of the very law it is tasked to enforce &#8211; Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The case, <a href=\"https:\/\/s3.documentcloud.org\/documents\/25090681\/kandan.pdf\">Kandan v. Burrows, EEOC<\/a>, was filed in the Eastern District of Lousiana on August 26th. The Complaint alleges discrimination based on gender, race and national origin. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">This case is particularly noteworthy given the EEOC&#8217;s role as the federal agency responsible for enforcing civil rights laws in the workplace.
