Roku, Inc.<\/strong> ROKU<\/span> stock is trading on Friday after the company reported a better-than-expected 2024 fiscal-year fourth quarter on Thursday after the market closed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

What To Know: <\/strong>The company reported a loss of 24 cents per share, beating analysts\u2019 estimate of a loss of 41 cents per share. In addition, the company reported sales of $1.20 billion, beating analysts\u2019 estimate of $1.14 billion.<\/p>\n

The company broke down its revenue further, reporting platform revenue of $3.5 billion, representing an 18% year-over-year increase. Furthermore, it reported an average revenue per user (ARPU) of $41.49.<\/p>\n

In terms of key business metrics, the company announced streaming households totaled to 89.8 million and streaming hours were 127.1 billion.<\/p>\n

The company also issued guidance for the 2025 fiscal year first quarter. It sees revenue revenue of $1.005 billion, versus analysts\u2019 estimates of $1.006 billion.<\/p>\n
