The result of this is a union that could be called \u201cthe best of cinema with the best of video games\u201d, something that has already been tried in the past, as in Death Stranding, but which ended up not working so well.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, this is a special game that shows how Naughty Dog is a company with an enviable ability to create great narratives and stories. That will certainly enter with force for the candidacy of the generation\u2019s best game. Like its predecessor, it could very well be called the best game of the generation, which would be no injustice to others or exaggeration with this one\u2014highly recommended.<\/p>\n<h3>9. Spider-Man Miles Morales<\/h3>\n<p>A direct sequel to Spider-Man, Miles Morales was one of the PS5\u2019s sales gimmicks when it launched, but it also made its way to PS4.<\/p>\n<p>The game brings news about Miles\u2019 powers, Peter, and an entertaining story, where spider-man can finally take a vacation, and Miles has to take the scolding. Despite that, it\u2019s short but still serves as a great appetizer for what Spider-Man 2 will bring.<\/p>\n<h3>12. Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey<\/h3>\n<p>Assassin\u2019s Creed Odyssey is a kind of salad where we take the mission and narrative structure of The Witcher, put it together with the combat of Dark Souls and the navigation of Assassin\u2019s Creed 4, and put it all in the Assassin\u2019s Creed universe revisiting ancient Greece in the middle of Peloponnesian War.<\/p>\n<p>The result is a gigantic game with a story that isn\u2019t all those things but with extremely fun gameplay and over 70 hours of campaign. Honestly, this is my favorite AC in the franchise.<\/p>\n<h3>13. The Witcher 3<\/h3>\n<p>The Witcher 3 is a great game. Absurdly big. And that should not be played hastily. Play, enjoy and marvel at this beautiful experience because the game is worth every minute invested in it, whether because of the story, or because of the combat, or because of the immense world and vast of activities that await you.<\/p>\n<p>The game has some performance issues, but nothing really takes away from this beautiful work. Aside from the base game, The Witcher 3 still has two DLCs that you can practically count as new games, given their size and depth.<\/p>\n<h3>14. Yakuza<\/h3>\n<p>Yakuza is the opening chapter of the saga of Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima, and although many people see the franchise as a kind of Japanese GTA, it is much more than that. Combining a fun beat \u2019em up cob mate system with completely playful missions and extremely charismatic characters,<\/p>\n<p>Yakuza 0 is one of those games that you don\u2019t give anything until you start playing, and then end up getting completely addicted either to it or to its minigames. This is easily one of the best PS4 games; if you give it a go, you will probably fall in love with this wonderful franchise.<\/p>\n<h3>15. Tony Hawk\u2019s Pro Skater 1 + 2<\/h3>\n<p>Tony Hawk was one of the most fun games of the PS1 generation, and their remake manages not only to capture the soul of the games but to update them and make them even more fun, whether for those who lived at that time or for those who started playing the franchise even today. We are eagerly waiting for the remake of the other games in the series; when will they arrive?<\/p>\n<h3>16. Mortal Kombat 11<\/h3>\n<p>Mortal Kombat 11 is the best Mortal Kombat ever released to date. The game does an excellent job both in delivering first-rate punches and in the content part, with a great campaign (although it doesn\u2019t surpass the game that restarted the franchise) and several ways to keep you busy, be it exchanging punches with the machine, or exchanging punches with friends or strangers on the internet. More than recommended.<\/p>\n<h3>17. Street Fighter V<\/h3>\n<p>Street Fighter V is a PS4-exclusive game on consoles. Despite not having the best of releases, Capcom managed to fix its main problems, adding tons of characters and things that were missing, like story modes not only from Street Fighter V but also from the classic games in the series with V\u2019s characters and gameplay. Today, Street fighter V is the ultimate Street Fighter.<\/p>\n<h3>18. Control<\/h3>\n<p>Control is a beautiful adventure game that will please fans of Remedy\u2019s previous games and anyone looking for a game that\u2019s not too long and has an excellent story ahead. Although it has many qualities, the game has some moments of very unbalanced gameplay and some areas that you might be head over heels for until you find it, as happened to me.<\/p>\n<h3>19. Doom<\/h3>\n<p>Doom is the rebirth of one of the most iconic franchises in the video game world and one of the best shooters of all time. Combining violence, a mind-blowing soundtrack, and extremely fun gameplay, no one doesn\u2019t play Doom and jump right into the world of Doomslayer.<\/p>\n<h3>20. Wolfenstein The New Order<\/h3>\n<p>Speaking of rebirths, Wolfenstein: The New Order is another game that deserves too much praise; Bethesda took a franchise that had nothing relevant for decades, rebooted it, and combined not only an adult story, where Nazism had won, and now you should lead the counterattack but also extremely fun and visceral gameplay.<\/p>\n<h3>21. Horizon Forbidden West<\/h3>\n<p>The second game in the Horizon franchise, Forbidden West, improves on everything that its predecessor didn\u2019t deliver so well, in addition to inheriting all the positive characteristics of the first game in the series.<\/p>\n<p>I didn\u2019t include Zero Dawn in this list because they are very similar games; the recommendation is to play both, mainly because Forbidden West is very good. It is one of the best PS4 games that proves that even at the end of the console\u2019s helpful life, it still delivers a lot of quality.<\/p>\n<h3>22. Rocket League<\/h3>\n<p>Rocket League was originally released on PlayStation 4 as a free game on PlayStation Plus, and it completely blew up by combining two things that didn\u2019t quite seem to match each other: football and motor racing and putting it into an extremely fun game that is still very successful today wherever it went.<\/p>\n<p>Released. Titanfall 2<\/h3>\n<p>While Titanfall 2\u2019s multiplayer never really took off, and it\u2019s a lot of fun, Titanfall 2 has one of the best, if not the best, first-person shooter campaigns of the last 15 to 20 years. The game combines high-quality shooting, puzzle sessions, parkour, and a very satisfying story. Best of all, it\u2019s almost always on sale so you can buy this great game for cheap.<\/p>\n<h3>25. Cuphead<\/h3>\n<p>Cuphead brings that old-school Disney cartoon vibe to a game that will push you to the limit with memorable bosses and levels. The game may seem cute at first, but it will certainly push you to the limit, and best of all, it can be played in 2 as in the glorious days of the Super Nintendo.<\/p>\n<h3>26. Final Fantasy VII Remake<\/h3>\n<p>Final Fantasy 7 Remake is one of the best remakes ever made in history. It\u2019s true, a small part of the original game is available so far, and the game could have more optional quests and be less drag at times.<\/p>\n<p>Still, it makes up for it a lot with expanded roles of characters you were unaware of in the original game, new and original areas, breathtaking original sequels, and an extremely fun combat system. It is one of the best PS4 RPG games.<\/p>\n<h3>27. Final Fantasy XV<\/h3>\n<p>Final Fantasy XV is a game that caused a lot of controversy at launch for looking unfinished, but the Royal Edition of the game fixed many of these problems and helped to highlight the game\u2019s greatest strength: its core characters. Noctis, Prompto, Gladiolus, and Ignis are amazing together, and if you don\u2019t get emotional about their journey, you\u2019re dead inside.<\/p>\n<h3>28. A Pay Tale: Innocence<\/h3>\n<p>A Plague Tale: Innocence is a dark, thrilling, and fantastical adventure. The solid stealth gameplay offers little new, but the unique setting and how it affects the characters, the excellent dialogue, and the oppressive atmosphere more than correct this linearity, resulting in one of the best games of 2019.<\/p>\n<h3>29. Nier Automata<\/h3>\n<p>Nier Automata is an excellent action game with a story that will make your head explode, as finishing the game just once won\u2019t make you reach the end of the plot. The more you play and think about Nier Automata, the more you like the game.<\/p>\n<p>If you manage to beat the first 40 minutes of it, where it\u2019s not possible to save, and if you die, you end up having to do it all over again, it shows one of the best games of its generation.<\/p>\n<h3>30. Monster Hunter World<\/h3>\n<p>Monster Hunter World is a daring game that tries to please both old and new players. Most surprising of all, Capcom nailed it this time.
