{"id":87622,"date":"2025-02-14T11:49:33","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T11:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/peraltafinancing.com\/aerospace\/canary-islands-airline-binter-orders-four-atr-72-600s\/"},"modified":"2025-02-14T11:49:33","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T11:49:33","slug":"canary-islands-airline-binter-orders-four-atr-72-600s","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fivemor.com\/?p=87622","title":{"rendered":"Canary Islands airline Binter orders four ATR 72-600s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>On February 14, 2025, Spanish airline Binter announced the ordering of four additional ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft, with an\u00a0option for\u00a0a further five units of the same type in the future.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Binter is already one of the largest ATR operators in the world, with 26 ATR 72-600s in its fleet.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The regional carrier, which also operates one ATR 72-500 as well as 16 Embraer E195 E2s, provides services primarily within the Canary Islands and between the archipelago and the Spanish mainland, as well as some destinations in Portugal and North Africa.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"article-leaderboard bn-1\"\/>\n<p>This order represents a \u20ac215 million investment, which is being financed by three major Spanish banks: Santander, CaixaBank and BBVA.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Binter has operated ATR turboprops for most of its history, including legacy models which have been progressively replaced by the current ATR 72-600 generation.
