<\/a><\/figure>\n<\/div>\nA collaboration with two artists\u2019 names that immediately should raise attention: Abul Mogard<\/em><\/strong> (Guido Zen) <\/em><\/strong>and Rafael Anton Irisarri<\/em><\/strong>. Impossibly Distant, Impossibly Close <\/em><\/strong>is released on Black Knoll Editions<\/em><\/strong> (Irisarri <\/em><\/strong>is the owner of the Black Knoll Studio<\/a>)<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n A 2023 performance in Madrid inspired Mogard <\/em><\/strong>and Irisarri<\/em><\/strong> to work together, resulting in this album. The second track Waking Up Dizzy On A Bastion<\/em> is a recording from that performance \u2013 it is easy to hear why this piece \u2018resonated deeply with the audience\u2019. <\/em> The studio track was probably created through online collaboration from their studios (\u2018impossibly distant\u2019); they were obviously \u2018impossibly close\u2019 at the live performance. Mogard<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s Farfisa (+ effects) and Irisarri<\/em><\/strong>\u2018s electric guitar (+ treatments) sound \u2018impossibly close\u2019 in both the live and studio tracks. <\/p>\n Notably, the (black, yellow, and green) vinyl versions are pressed on sustainable bio-vinyl. Unfortunately, they are allready sold out before the official release date. <\/p>\n
Place Of Forever<\/em> is a studio work that \u2018builds on the same energy of that live performance\u2019:<\/em> \u2018Starting with a somber and minimal tone, the track gradually evolves, unfurling layers of deep bass tonalities draped in blissful gauze as it progresses\u2019<\/em>.<\/p>\n
