The dark cloud rises above the heroes as Shigaraki’s power escalates, creating problems for Bakugo and others. While the latter’s fate remains uncertain, My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13 suggests that Deku will soon enter the battlefield. His arrival will soon make things problematic for Shigaraki, forcing him to retrieve. But will he? Deku is currently dealing with other villains on the Sky site but will soon return to face Shigaraki. However, fans have to wait for the moment as the upcoming episode won’t return this week. Keep reading to find out the reason behind the delay.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13: Deku Vs. Shigaraki! What’s Now?

My Hero Academia Season 7 is expected to run 21 episodes, and since the anime has already reached its halfway it’s gearing up for the showdown between the heroes and villains. This will undoubtedly lead to a more intense battle between Tomura Shigaraki and Izuku Midoriya. But before that, My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13, “A Chain of Events, Across the Ages,” promises to bring the most anticipated battle between Deku and Shigaraki.

In the previous episode’s closing moment, Deku enters the battlefield, where Shigaraki plans to eliminate all the heroes. Katsuki Bakugo is still lying on the ground without any heartbeat. While Edgeshot tries to revive his heart, Deku’s entry to stop Shigaraki will play a pivotal role in helping the other heroes. Deku can take Shigaraki with a full blow. My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13 will also reveal Bakugo’s fate and whether things will turn in the heroes’ favor.

A Quick Recap!

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 12 began with the first OFA user, Yoichi, revealing AFO’s growing powers. While Yoichi made a claim, Deku rushed to the Coffin in the Sky Site as he spotted something. The episode then shifted its focus to the fight against Shigaraki. It was the moment when Aizawa and Monoma witnessed Bakugo’s body. Jeanist learned that Bakugo had no pulse and his heart couldn’t pump.

This created panic among the heroes, who wondered how they could keep Shigaraki occupied until Deku arrived. As for Shigaraki, he aimed to kill the remaining heroes. The fight then took a dramatic turn as AFO returned to his prime youthful state. AFO intended to destroy the world and become the Demon Lord. While the heroes battled to save the world, Edgeshort used his quirk Foldabody to treat Bakugo’s internal injuries.

However, Shigaraki aimed to stop Jeanist and Edgeshot from reviving Bakugo. This made things more challenging as Jeanist and Togata could not stop the villain. In order to make things work, Togata jumped in front of Shigaraki and performed a comedic gesture by showing the villain his “peaches.” It caught Shigaraki off guard. Deku arrived the moment Shigaraki realized that it was a trap.

My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13 Release Date

While Bakugo’s fate remains uncertain, fans will have to wait to see whether Edgeshot can revive the former’s heart. That’s because My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13 won’t return this week. Instead of airing on August 10, the anime will face a week-long break due to the Olympics. The forthcoming episode is titled “A Chain of Events, Across the Ages,” which will air on Saturday, August 17, at 5:30 pm JST.

The anime will first air in Japan on local broadcasting networks, such as Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV. Meanwhile, My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 13 will be simultaneously aired on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Disney Plus. So, don’t miss the upcoming episode. This is all for now. Stay with The Anime Daily for more such updates.
