Welcome to the holiday season, friends!

I hope it’s neither too hurried nor too harried for you this year.

This holiday season, I’m focused on two areas for gift giving: gifts that are meaningful and gifts that are consumable. Why? I’m committed to having less stuff. Less clutter. Fewer items to clean and organize.

That might not be your goal, of course, but even if not, I have a few wonderful gift ideas for the pet-lover (or yourself!) on your shopping list. In this post, I’m recommending holiday gifts for pets that are sentimental, useful, or consumable. In other words: practical and appreciated!

Plus, thanks to the incredible generosity of our partners, three of YOU have a chance to win a gift for yourself this season! Let’s dig into the gifts, shall we?

This year’s top 3 holiday gifts for pets

I whittled my list down to three products from a field of more than a dozen choices. I focused on choosing the most useful, the best consumable, and the most sentimental. So, without further ado, here are the top 3 (followed by a handful of honorable mentions):

The most useful gift

Whether you travel by plane, stay in hotels, camp, RV, boat, road trip, or any other activities with your pup, this portable, travel-sized grooming kit from Dogtopia is as useful as it is adorable. It’s small enough to stash in your fanny pack or carry-on, but the concentrated formula lasts for many, many on-the-go baths. The brush works for many coats, and the balm is something everyone needs on pet-friendly adventures. Plus, the packaging is brightly colored so it’ll be easy to spot in the bottom of a bag. Get your set here!

The best consumable gift

Rigby is a high-value lickable dog treat. And it is super high-value, for sure–Penny recently sailed through a stressful vet appointment with one of the chicken pouches!

Quality is at the forefront of the brand, and all pouches are made with organic ingredients sourced from some of the best farms in the U.S. Rigby pouches are convenient, portable, and mess-free. The spout is designed to target sensory stimulation – ideal for training and motivating your dog through high-value rewards. This is the PERFECT gift for the dog lover who spends time training or working with her pup and for anyone who needs a yummy treat for stressful moments. Rigby is available for purchase on rigbypets.com and select local pet stores.

The Perfect Sentimental Gift

You know that person who has everything? Who is impossible to shop for? Who never has any gift suggestions because they don’t really need or want anything? THIS is the gift for that person! Or for the person who loves their pet enough to want his or her face on everything!

PugMug allows pet lovers to transform photos of their pets into beautiful art, and then order their favorite images on a variety of products. (You can also view their galleries HERE and HERE and, oh my gosh, I honestly don’t know what I love the most…)

honorable mentions

Let’s be real for a moment: Not everyone has a big holiday budget. Not everyone wants more stuff either. I fall into both of those camps! If you or someone on your list does, too, here are four more budget-friendly suggestions that can fit almost anyone.

Pet food. Or a gift card for pet food. We feed Wellness or similar kibble and rotate between The Honest Kitchen and The Farmer’s Dog as toppers and mix-ins, which are both pricey for dog food, so a gift of food–or gift cards–would go so far! (BTW, those links both give you a big discount if you want to stuff your stockings on sale.)

Etsy gift card. Truly, who can’t find something to love on Etsy? My problem is the opposite. I can find way too much to love on Etsy!

For the most practical among us. Earth Rated’s dog walking bundle with pickup bags with handles and a pack of wipes for on-the-go cleanup

Don’t forget the cats! While my cats (and I!) might be dreaming of this, it’s not in this year’s budget. Or, let’s be real, probably not next year’s either. However, you won’t find a single cat who won’t be thrilled for you to pickup this huge box of Churu! Plus, at the time of this writing, it’s massively on sale!

And now for the giveaways!

Thanks so much to our friends at PugMug and Rigby for offering such generous giveaways. Our site wouldn’t exist without fabulous brand partners, so we are forever grateful!

This is a Rafflecopter giveaway. Sometimes the widget doesn’t load, but if you click the link it’ll open up for you. It does ask for your email, but they’re neither saved nor added to any list–it’s simply to keep bots from entering. Leave a comment if you have questions!
